I first started seeing Judy after the birth of my second child. I hadn't been able to shake off the tiredness from the pregnancy and birth, and although there was nothing medically wrong with me, I knew I wasn't quite right and i wanted to regain my former energy and spirit. I also had a niggling knee pain tat was becoming worse as I started to exercise more frequently. Judy's calm and confident manner reassured me immediately and she took time to understand my symptoms and make sure she knew what I wanted from the treatment. I saw Judy regularly at first and I soon felt my energy levels soar, and various other minor ailments drop away. Within a short amount of time we were able to reduce the frequency of my appointments and I'm delighted to say I'm now back to running marathons and living life the way I'd like to. "Acupuncture was recommended to me for gynaecological problems. I was quite skeptical about the thought that sticking a few needles in you could hep out with physical problems, but enough people had said it was useful for me to decide to give it a try. I came to see Judy with some long-standing complex issues. Judy is a warm and empathic person who takes a holistic view of the problems you are experiencing. I found it really helpful that she was happy to explain what she was doing and why. However the most remarkable part for me was that acupuncture produced some significant physiological changes in me that prior to acupuncture has only been achieved with prescription medication (which had some not so positive side effects). What I found so helpful was that through acupuncture I could address the emotional as well as physical responses I was experiencing to my long-standing problem. Throughout my work with Judy I have continued to have regular treatment within the NHS taking prescription medication. Acupuncture has helped manage the side-effects of that medication and meant I have needed to take less drugs as it has gotten my body to a place where it is functioning in a 'normal' way without the use of certain medications."
